A seminar was held with publication of research results titled Childhood Adversity and its Health Impact at the Bangladesh Medical University in Dhaka on Wednesday.
BMU vice-chancellor Professor Dr Md Shahinul Alam was present as chief guest at the seminar, which was organised by the department of public health and informatics, said a press release.
The seminar, organised with the support of The Open University in the United Kingdom, Indiana University school of social work in the United States and Global Street Connect, was chaired by the BMU pro-VC for research and development Professor Dr Md Mujibur Rahman Hawlader.
The keynote speech at the seminar was delivered by Professor Dr Md Atiqul Haque, Chairman of the Department of public health and informatics.
