
Based on the theme ‘empowering futures through micro-credentials’, DIU Micro-Credentials Academy in collaboration with the faculty of science and information technology celebrated DIU Micro-Credentials Day 2025 at the International Conference Hall of the university in Dhaka on Saturday.
The event offered a unique opportunity to enhance students’ career prospects and academic journey through the networking with industry experts, career counseling, exploring micro-credentials courses, industry-academia collaboration and showcasing opportunities, said a press release.
Riazul Latif Chowdhury, executive director general of the Bangladesh National Museum, inaugurated the DIU Micro-Credentials Day 2025 as chief guest while Mohammad Nuruzzaman Munna, chief executive officer of Speed Marketing Corporation; and Mosttafa Shazzad Hasan, FCA were present as special guests at inauguration ceremony.
Presided over by Daffodil International University vice-chancellor Professor MR Kabir, the programme was also addressed by DIU pro-VC Professor SM Mahabub Ul Haque Mazumder, DIU strategy and innovation adviser Professor Gias U Ahsan, FSIT dean Professor Bimal Chandra Das and FHLS dean Professor Md Bellal Hossain.
