Manarat International University held a workshop titled Preparing Future Legal Minds: Equipping for the Bar, Bench and Beyond at the seminar hall of the MIU permanent campus of Ashulia in Dhaka on Saturday.
The seminar was held at the initiative of the MIU law department to develop the careers of law students, said a press release.
Abdullah Hill Gani, head of the law department delivered welcome speech at the workshop.
MIU assistant professor Barrister Tasnim Ferdous, law department teachers Sumaiya Islam, Shahriar Bin Wares, Naima Rahul and Tabassum Islam Tamanna, among others, were present at the workshop.
In the first part of the workshop, author and lawyer Md Raihan Sobhan participated as the main discussant in the session titled Cracking the Bar: Strategies for Success.
In the second part of the workshop, senior legal research officer of the International Crimes Tribunal, SM Mahfuz Alam participated as the main discussant in the session titled Becoming a Judge: BJS Book Print.
