
BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology celebrated its 13th founding anniversary organising an iftar party at its Multipurpose Hall in Dhaka on Sunday.
The ceremony brought together distinguished guests, faculty, and staff for prayer and celebration during Ramadan, said a press release.
The event featured a cake-cutting ceremony led by Faruque Hassan, chairman of the BUFT board of trustees, alongside other BoT members.
Professor Ayub Nabi Khan, BUFT acting vice-chancellor, attended the ceremony along with treasurer, registrar, deans, heads of departments, faculty, and staff, reaffirming BUFT鈥檚 commitment to academic excellence in fashion, textile, arts, business, and technology education.
A special prayer was held for the university鈥檚 prosperity, the nation鈥檚 welfare, and global peace, which was followed by an iftar party, strengthening the bonds of unity and brotherhood among attendees.
The event highlighted BUFT鈥檚 ongoing dedication to academic and professional excellence while fostering a strong sense of community among all stakeholders, added the press release.
