Farahnaaz Feroz

Farahnaaz Feroz has been selected as new chairman of the board of trustees of Stamford University Bangladesh, said a press release on Monday.

Farahnaaz Feroz has been a member of the board of the university since 2011.


She received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Kingston University London, and earned her master’s in microbiology and a PhD in agricultural sciences from Kindai University in Nara, Japan.

She served as director of Student Welfare. She was also part of the university’s academic council, syndicate, recruitment, finance, disciplinary and marketing committees. She is also a life member of Bangladesh Society of Microbiology.

Additionally, she has been serving as managing director of Stamford Foods and Agro Ltd since 2016.

She has also written children’s books, centring on the characters she created, Penny and Peter.

She was also selected as the local president of Junior Chamber International Bangladesh’s local chapter Dhaka Heritage.
