A meeting between the board of directors of Rupali Bank PLC and the bank鈥檚 senior management team on Sunday, a press release said.
Chairman Md Nazrul Huda presided over the session held at the bank鈥檚 head office at Dilkusha in the capital.
During the meeting, the board instructed to strengthen audit and inspection activities to enhance the effectiveness of the internal control system and advised holding meetings between the board and the SMT every quarter.
The meeting was attended by directors ABM Abdus Sattar, Soyaeb Ahmed, Md Shahjahan, Md Abu Yusuf Miah, ABM Shawkat Iqbal Shahin, Mujib Ahmed Siddiqui, AHM Moin Uddin and Bangladesh Bank observer SM Abdul Hakim, along with SMT chairman and the bank鈥檚 managing director Kazi Md Wahidul Islam.
Also present were deputy managing directors Parsuma Alam, Hasan Tanvir and Md Harunur Rashid, as well as the bank鈥檚 general managers.
