Agrani Bank PLC on Saturday organised ‘Meet the Borrower and Managers’ Conference’ in Cumilla, said a press release.
The bank hosted the events to review business progress for 2025 and strengthen loan recovery activities.
All regional heads, corporate branch heads and branch managers under the Cumilla Circle participated in the events.
Managing director Md Anowarul Islam attended the conference as chief guest.
During the ‘Meet the Borrower’ session, defaulting clients repaid Tk 4.75 crore in overdue loans in cash.
Cumilla Circle general manager Md Atikur Rahman Siddiqui presided over the conference.
Among others, deputy managing directors Md Abul Bashar, Rubana Parveen and general manager (audit) Md Ikhtiar Uddin were present.
In his address, Md Anowarul Islam emphasised the importance of recovering classified loans and gave directives regarding CMSME loan disbursement, deposit mobilisation, remittance collection and settlement of legal cases.
He also instructed the regional heads, corporate branch heads and managers to ensure the achievement of all business targets set for 2025.
