M Masud Rana has been promoted to additional managing director of BRAC Bank effective tomorrow, said a press release.
He is currently serving as deputy managing director and chief financial officer.
He joined BRAC Bank in October 2019 and has since been instrumental in driving financial strategy, governance, and operational excellence.
He began his career at SF Ahmed & Co and has held senior positions at BEXIMCO Garments and Textile Division, Sanofi-Aventis, Standard Chartered Bangladesh - where he was eventually appointed CFO - and Dhaka Bank, where he also served as CFO.
He is a fellow chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh and an alumnus of the University of Dhaka, where he completed his honours and master鈥檚 in accounting.
