Dismissed officials of Al-Arafah Islami Bank staged a human chain and sit-in protest on Monday, demanding reinstatement to their jobs.
The protesters carried banners and placards as they gathered in front of the head office building.
Participants in the protest said that 547 officials were terminated last week without any prior notice.

The protesters said that they had come from different parts of the country to join the demonstration.
