Rupali Bank PLC, jointly with Sonali Bank PLC, on Thursday secured first place in implementation of E-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2023-24, said a press release.
The banks won the recognition under state-owned commercial bank category.
Finance adviser Salehuddin Ahmed as chief guest handed over the honour to RBL managing director Kazi Md Wahidul Islam at an event titled 鈥業nnovation Showcasing鈥� organised by the Financial Institutions Division in the capital.
Special assistant to the chief adviser Anisuzzaman Chowdhury was present as a special guest.
FID secretary Nazma Mobarek presided over the event.
Other senior government officials were also present.
