Mohammad Zahid Hossain has joined Bangladesh Krishi Bank as chairman on Sunday, said a press release.
Earlier, he served as a principal economist at South Asia department of the Asian Development Bank. He worked at ADB to oversee ADB鈥檚 Bangladesh country programming and economic analysis-related works.
He also worked as an ADB consultant for a long time at the Ministry of Finance.
He obtained MA in economics from the University of Dhaka and MA and PhD from the University of the Philippines.
