Abdul Hai Sarker has been re-elected chairman of Dhaka Bank PLC鈥檚 board of directors, said a press release.
He is founder chairman of Dhaka Bank, former vice-chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks and a former director of Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
He was also chairman of board of trustees of Independent University, Bangladesh. He was president of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association for consecutive four times.
He is founder member of board of trustees of Bangladesh Enterprise Institute. He was also an associate director of International Cotton Association based in Liverpool, UK.
He completed his MCom from the University of Dhaka.
