Bangladesh have been placed in Group A with hosts Sri Lanka and Nepal, as the draw of the seven-team SAFF Under-17 Championship 2025 was held at a city hotel on Sunday.
Defending champions India, Pakistan, Bhutan, and the Maldives have been placed in Group B of the regional youth tournament to be held in Colombo from September 15 to 20.
For the draw, participating teams were placed into four pots, with India and Sri Lanka in pot one, Bangladesh and Pakistan in pot two, Nepal and Bhutan in pot three and the Maldives in pot four.聽
The coaches, referees and the match commissioners of the ongoing four-team SAFF Women's U-20 Championship participated in the draw ceremony.
