Bangladesh have found themselves in the same group along with defending champions Pakistan, India, and New Zealand in the draft schedule of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy submitted by tournament hosts Pakistan.聽

According to multiple reports, including Al Jazeera and the Press Trust of India, a draft of 15 matches was published on July 3 by the hosts, which has its approval pending.


The draft also sees an epic India-Pakistan clash on March 1 set to be played at Lahore.

The tournament is set to start on February 19, 2025, eight years after its last edition was held back in 2017 in England and Wales.

Bangladesh will face India, Pakistan, and New Zealand in Group A as per the draft of the eight team competition. Group B is comprised of Australia, South Africa, England, and Afghanistan.

According to the draft, a total of 15 matches will be played in the tournament, and the two semi-finals will be held in Karachi and Rawalpindi, with the final in Lahore.

Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi will host three, seven, and five matches, respectively.

If India reach the last four, their match will be held in Lahore, as the Indian team will stay in Lahore for the entire tournament due to security reasons.

Bangladesh reached the semi-finals in the last edition of the tournament.聽
