
Bangladesh interim government has imposed a ban on flying of drones over the Jatiya Sangsad area during the July National Charter signing ceremony tomorrow.
‘The signing ceremony of the July National Charter 2025 will be held tomorrow (Friday) at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban. Authorities have imposed a ban on flying of drones in and around the sangsad area during the event,’ said chief adviser’s Press Wing here this afternoon.
All concerned have been requested to strictly comply with the directive, it added.
According to officials, the much-awaited historic ‘July National Charter-2025’ signing ceremony is scheduled to be held around 4:00pm tomorrow.
Chief adviser and chairman of the National Consensus Commission Professor Muhammad Yunus will grace the signing occasion of the charter.
Earlier, the chief adviser joined a meeting of the consensus commission with political parties at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka on Wednesday evening as part of the last minute preparation of the signing ceremony.
Leaders of various political parties, including Bangladesh Nationalist Party, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, National Citizen Party, Gono Songhoti Andolon, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, JSD (Rab) and Biplobi Workers Party were present at the meeting.
