The results of this year鈥檚 Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations were published on Wednesday, showing a sharp decline in overall performance compared to last year.
The combined pass rate stood at 58.83 per cent, down by about 20 percentage points from 77.78 per cent in 2024.
A total of 69,097 students achieved GPA-5 this year, nearly half of last year鈥檚 1,45,911.
