
News Times editor Sohel Manzur died at a hospital in Dhaka on Monday morning.
The family said that Sohel suffered a cardiac arrest in the morning and they rushed him to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, where the doctors on duty declared him dead at about 5:00am.
Sohel had been suffering from cardiac problems for several years.
He would be buried in Rangpur in the afternoon, the family said.
Sohel worked at 抖阴精品 as managing editor, Daily Sun as executive editor, Bangladesh News as executive editor, Financial Express as deputy managing editor and The Daily Star as reporter.
Sohel is survived by his wife, a daughter, a son and a host of friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
