A Dhaka court on Tuesday ordered to attach a flat in the capital鈥檚 Gulshan belonging to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina鈥檚 daughter Saima Wazed Putul and appoint a receiver to look after the property.
Dhaka metropolitan senior special judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, granting an appeal of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
The anti-graft body in its plea said that the accused had attempted to sell or change the ownership of the assets, and if she succeeded in doing so, the investigation would be hampered.
For thorough probe into the graft case, the ACC requested the court to attach the property and appoint a receiver to look after it.
