The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said that mild heat wave is sweeping over Dhaka 脿nd some other places in the country.
According to a bulletin of the BMD on Tuesday Dee, mild heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Nilphamari, Jashore, Dhaka, Faridpur and Rangamati and it may continue.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.
'Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions,' said the bulletin.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it added.
