A murder case was filed against former lawmaker for Dhaka-10 constituency actor Ferdous Ahmed, cricketer and former AL lawmaker for Magura-1 constituency Shakib Al Hasan and others over the murder of a garment worker in the capital.
A police official of Adabor police station told ¶¶Òõ¾«Æ· on Friday morning that the case was filed against 156 persons, including ousted prime minister and Awami League president Sheikh Hasina and AL general secretary Obaidul Quader, at about 10:30pm on Thursday.
Besides, 500 unidentified people were also accused in the case.
According to the case statement, Rubel, a garments worker, joined the protest in the Ring Road area in the capital on August 5, the day Hasina resigned amid a student-led mass uprising.
Rubel was shot and rushed to a hospital where he died while undergoing treatment on August 7.
